Bernice Euliene Riley

Bernice Euliene Riley, also known as "Granny", went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was born March 9, 1920, in Repton, AL to the late William and Alma Ryals. Mrs. Riley was married to the late Rev. Lloyd Riley, Sr. for 58 years before he passed away in 1996. She loved her role as a Pastor's wife, and the privilege of working for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mrs. Riley worked as a dispatcher for the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Department before retiring in 1989. A determined lady, she was proud to receive her high school diploma at the age of 60.

After the passing of her husband, she moved from Milton, FL to Panama City, FL and became a faithful and active member of Central Pentecostal Ministries. Even in her nineties she continued to work in the church nursery rocking the babies. Being an "adopted grandmother" to the young girls in the church brought her great joy as did being a part of the Tuesday Morning Ladies Prayer Group and the Overcomers Sunday School Class.

She is survived by three sons David (Georgia)Riley, Tommy (Deborah) Riley, and Phil (Adria) Riley; a daughter, Mary (Ken) Carroll. She had eight grandchildren, Paige Rolin, Adam Riley, Michael Kelley, Scott Kelley, Jeff Riley, Heather Hager, Heath Carroll and Michelle Farah; eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a sister, Judy Padilla.

Her deep abiding faith and love for God, church and family was unwavering. She was known as a great woman of prayer and faith, and will be truly missed. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Central Pentecostal Ministries with Rev. Don Shoots and Rev. T. A. Greene officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00.  Interment will be at 4:00 PM Saturday at Serenity Gardens, Milton, FL.
