BARBARA CHARLENE MANN

Charlene Mann, 65, of Panama City Beach, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017. Charlene was born in Dothan, AL, but grew up in Panama City, graduating in 1970 from Bay High School. She earned a Masters degree in nursing, and worked in Elberton and Toccoa, Georgia for many years. Barbara was Baptist by faith, and never met a stranger. She loved the beach, spending time with family and friends, telling stories and making people laugh. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mann.

Survivors include her children, Tracy Glidewell of Atlanta, GA and Brian Glidewell (Kimberly) of Harlem, GA; a sister Linda Miller of Bonifay, FL; 2 grandchildren, Jeremy and Carson Glidewell; and her beloved dog, Bear.

Per Charlene's wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Humane Society of Bay County, 1408 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401.
