Carl D Millis

Carl Millis, 84, of Panama City passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at a local hospital. He was born February 25, 1932, in Apalachicola, FL and was a graduate of Bay High School Class of ’49. Carl retired in 1994 from International Paper Company in Vicksburg, MS., and enjoyed yard working.
Carl was predeceased by his mother, Stella Goff Hill; his father, Laurel Dwight Millis; brother, Harold Millis; and daughter, Carlleen Millis Irby. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Verniece Millis; sons, Clark D. Millis of Joplin MO and Charles R. Millis of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Erin McCullar, Nathan Irby and Cara E. Millis; great-grandson, Ethan McCullar; brother, Donald Millis and wife Doris; and sister-in-law, Annette Millis.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Craig Brannon officiating. The family will receive friends and visitors on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
