Glenn Ivison Conway, Jr., 81, of Panama City Beach, Florida, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017.
He was born October 4, 1936 in Manchester, GA. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Eunice Conway. Glenn was a United States Army Veteran and a graduate of Georgia Tech. He made his career in the textile industry until his retirement in 1996. Mr. Conway is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janice Jones Conway; three children, Ann Simic of Atlanta, GA, Catherine Conway of Austin, TX, and Glenn Conway of Tybee Island, GA; four grandchildren, Molly Thompson, Lauren Thompson, Stevan Simic, and Michael Simic. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Woodlawn United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Covenant Inpatient Hospice Center at Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System, 615 North Bonita Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401
