HENRY ADAM DAY

Henry Adam Day, 74, of Panama City Beach, passed away October 30, 2017. Henry was born in Richmond, VA, and retired to Panama City Beach in 2010. He served in the 82nd Airborne Division, US Army Reserves before entering into the automobile business. Henry had served as President/CEO of the Nalley Automotive Group in Atlanta, GA. Following his "Need for Speed", Henry raced classic cars, and was a 3 time world champion in Tunnel Boat Racing.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Jo Ann Day; their children, Cheryl Trainum (Dusty) of McDonough, GA, Stacy Day of Virginia Beach, VA, Kim Dietz (Rusty) of Virginia Beach, VA, Danny Day (Kim) of McDonough, GA, Chad Dalton (Courtney) of McDonough, GA, Adam Dalton (Jacki) of Panama City Beach, and Trey Griffin, a student at FSU in Tallahassee; a brother, Leonard Blottin (Elizabeth) of San Diego, CA; two sisters, Sherry Pasedag of McDonough, GA and Diane Haupt of Virginia; 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service for Henry will begin at 1:00 PM Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the Woodlawn United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Lay officiating. Inurnment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405 or to the building fund at Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 219 N. Alf Coleman Road, Panama City Beach, FL 32413. Following the service, all are invited to a barbecue luncheon to be held at the church.
