JACK HENRY ROAT
Jack Henry Roat, 89, of Panama City, FL, passed away Thursday, February 8 2018. Jack was a native and life long resident of Bay County, and retired as a building contractor, building over 300 homes in Bay county. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Italy after WWII. Jack was an avid bird watcher, and enjoyed traveling, visiting Paris, Rome, and London many times. He was a former member of the Panama City Music Association, and loved attending concerts.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack's name may be made to the Meals on Wheels program through the Bay Council on Aging, 1116 Frankford Ave., Panama City, FL 32401.
