John Jack Lee, 91, of Panama City, Florida, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at a local care center.
John retired from the U.S. Air Force with 20 years of service, serving in WWII and Korean Conflict. He worked at the Navy Base responsible for many projects and finished his career with Comcast. Jack loved bass fishing and deer hunting and never passed up a chance to try his luck.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Frances Bass, Jo Edna Towkach and Joseph Edward Lee.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Nola Jean Lee; children, Cheryl Bryan (Jimmy) and John Anthony Lee (Trudy); brothers, James Lee (Kathy) and Buck Lee (Karen); sisters, Emma Ruth Colvin (Randy), Diann Hood (Vernon), and Virginia Karnes; grandchildren, Paul Hamrick (Kim), Chris Hamrick (Kaylen), Rick Grantham (Susan), Ryan Grantham, Anthony Lee (Kelly), and Adam Lee (Andrea) and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 12, 2017 at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Long officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. – 2 P.M. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
