JOHN EDWARD MURRAY   

John Edward Murray, SMSGT, USAF, retired, age 81 of Lynn Haven, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. John was born in Thomas, OK, and had lived in Bay County, since 2002, moving here from El Reno, OK. John retired as a SMSGT after 28 years in the US Air Force. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of almost 54 years, Hideko Murray; their son, Michael Murray and wife Miki of Lynn Haven; a brother, Billy Wayne Murray and wife Carla of Fittstown, OK; and two grandchildren, Jordan and Olivia Murray, both of Lynn Haven.

Private graveside funeral services were held Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Lynn Haven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 2230 E. 15th St., Panama City, FL 32405.
