Kenneth Wilson

Kenneth Wilson, 71, of Panama City, Florida passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Wilson was a member and Deacon of Springfield Baptist Church. He retired from the U.S. Air Force with 23 years of service and also served during the Vietnam War. Kenneth also retired from the State of Florida Work Force Center as a Transition Assistant Coordinator. He was a member of Gideons, enjoyed cooking, and working on his computer.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son Chuck McSwiney; and granddaughter Samantha Faith Mims.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Wilson; children Beth Mims (Charles) and Steve Wilson (Angela); sister Ann Marie Bradfute; grandchildren Brianna Mims, Amber Smith, Natalie Wilson, and Maikol Wilson; other mother Dorothy McSwiney.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Mims, Rev. Virgil Tillman, and Rev. Don Hodges officiating. Family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
