Lynn Dayton Pitchford

Lynn Pitchford, age 96, died peacefully on April 21, 2024, in the presence of his two daughters. He was born to William and Jeanette (Brayton) Pitchford in Aberdeen, SD, but grew up in Eugene, OR. After serving in the Navy in the Pacific (1944-46), Lynn spent a career at Lockheed, working his way up to a high-level executive position. He was an avid golfer, a dedicated husband and father, and a true gentleman, whose sense of humor could be devastating in the best way.

He is predeceased by his wife, Nancy Pitchford. He is survived and greatly missed by his brother, William Pitchford, daughters Kim Pitchford and Susan Pitchford (Bob Crutchfield), and his step-granddaughter Danielle C. White. No funeral service, at his request. His family invite you to raise a glass in his memory.
