Yahweh welcomed home one of his own Friday, Malon John Smith born February 20, 1956 in Newmarket, England to an English mum and an American GI. He spent his early life in Jacksonville, FL before the family moved to Panama City in 1972. He was a Bay High School graduate, class of 1974. He loved living in the country and watching all the wonderful wildlife just like his grandfather did many years ago. He was a very kind and generous man who always helped anyone in need. A big thank you to the fine folks at Covenant Hospice for taking care of Mr. Malon. He will be truly missed. Malon is survived by his son, Jesse; his generous mother, Hazel; his loving sister, Lesley and a brother, Dale. Funeral services and burial will take place privately at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
