MARGARET O. BEVERIDGE

It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret O. Beveridge announces her passing on Monday, September 25, 2017, at the age of 82. Margaret will forever be remembered by her sons, Robert L. Beveridge, USMC ret. and wife Donna, David A. Beveridge, USMC ret. and wife Lee and James A. Beveridge, former USMC Reserve and wife Mary; her brother, James L. Henderson and wife Joyce; sister, Linda Jennings and husband Steve; brother-in-law, Melvin Cook; and her grandchildren, Forrest J. Beveridge and Christina Beveridge. Margaret will also be fondly remembered by her step-granddaughter and two step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Margaret was born July 13, 1935, a daughter of the late James and Norene Henderson. She married the Late Robert J. Beveridge, USAF, ret, in 1954. Margaret was a founding member of Calvary Christian Baptist Church, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse, and a sister, Mattie.

The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Friday, September 29, 2017, from 6:30 until 8:00 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Bro. Billy Melvin officiating. Flowers are welcome, but those who desire may make memorial donations in memory of Margaret to Calvary Christian Baptist Church, 5516 Titus Road, Panama City, FL 32404, where a reception will immediately follow the graveside services.
