PETER GEZOVICH

Peter Gezovich, 92, of Panama City, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017. Peter was born in Duquesne, PA, and lived in Panama City since his retirement from US Steel in 1980. He was a US Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Peter was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy, and by his parents and six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his children, Saundra Winter (Bill) of McCellandtown, PA and David R. Gezovich of Liberty Boro, PA; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with military honors offered by the US Army Honor Guard will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Chapel Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405, in memory of Peter Gezovich.
