Master Sergeant, Robert “Bob” Mitchell Bledsoe, USAF, ret., 78 of Panama City, passed away April 24, 2017 at Covenant Care Hospice. Bob was born November 9, 1938 in Atlanta. GA to Edgar and Nola (War) Bledsoe and moved to Panama City in 1975 coming from Mississippi. Bob is a United States Air Force Veteran with over 28 years of service. He also served the State of Florida as Maintenance Manager for the Florida Park System, NW Region for over 17 years. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and especially NASCAR. He was united in marriage on November 7, 1958 to his wife, Carol who resides in Panama City. Bob is also survived by his children, Anja (Jeff) Bankston of Youngstown, Brenda Bledsoe of Marietta, GA, Robert A. (Camellia) Bledsoe of Panama City and Cindy (Robert) Nicewonder of Hunstville, AL; his grandchildren, Christie, Bobby, AJ, Chinae, Steven, Chase, Johnathan, Katherine and Kaitlyn and his great-grandchildren, Jose, Camila, Damien and Dalton. Friends will be received Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place 2:00 pm Friday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
