BMCM MDV Robert (Bob) T. Van Dine Jr.   

Bob Van Dine Jr., age 77, of Lynn Haven, Florida, passed away at his home on April 4th, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends. Bob was born on August 17th, 1946.  He was preceded in death by his mom and dad.   

Bob was a Master Chief and Master Diver in the Navy for 28 years.  He worked at Bay Medical Center as a supervisor of the Hyperbaric Chamber.  He also worked offshore for 2 oil rig companies as a diving supervisor. 

Survivors include his wife, Donna (Hastwell) Van Dine; daughter, Stacey Smith (husband Craig); son Todd Van Dine (wife Stephanie); four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

After retiring, Bob became an avid bass fisherman, belonging to several bass clubs.  

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 9th at 11 AM at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2403 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, Florida.  

There will be a public visitation held one hour prior to the service.
