Staci Brianne Joyner

Staci Brianne (Caswell) Joyner, age 38, of Crestview, FL passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018. Born June 28,1979, in Pensacola, FL, she was raised in Panama City, FL by her Parents, Paula and Mike Caswell. She attended Mosley High School and obtained her diploma from Shaw Adult Center. She later fulfilled her life’s dream of helping others by becoming a nurse, graduating from Tom P. Haney Technical Center.

Those who knew her best knew her to be a free spirit always driven to excitement and adventure. Her years were short but they made for a life lived full. She was independent, caring, and strong willed. She was a woman of great love but her most notable passions were her son, Jacob Rigby, her grandson, Tyler Rigby, her two Boxers, Ruger & Baretta, as well as her nursing patients. She also enjoyed speaking her mind unfiltered, traveling, cooking, attending concerts & music festivals, wine, sleeping in, quality time with friends, and having fun in or on the waters of the Gulf Coast which she called home for most of her beautiful life.

Staci was preceded in death by her brother, Jeremy Drew. She is survived by her Parents, Mike and Paula Caswell, of Panama City, FL, her son, Jacob Rigby of Windsor, SC, her grandson, Tyler Rigby, her brother Keith Caswell, of Panama City, many uncles, aunts and cousins in a large and loving family, lifelong friends, Monica Johnson, Danielle Nummy, Fred Werner and many others.

For the numerous other friends who she loved dearly and who loved her just as much that wish to express condolences, the family is respecting her expressed wishes for a celebration of life that will be announced at a later date. Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home is handling the care of Staci. Memorialization will be by cremation and burial with a Tree of Life as were her wishes.
