Ms. Sue Carol Wright (Peacock), age 91, of Panama City Beach FL passed away on Friday March 22, 2024.
Sue was born in Enterprise, AL on February 12, 1933. Sue was the daughter of the late C. E. and Lillie M. Peacock. In addition to her parents, Sue was pre-deceased by her first husband L. B Pullen, of Dunwoody,GA, her second husband Duane L. Wright, of Lincoln NE, and daughter Pamela L. Pullen, of Marietta, GA.
Sue is survived by her brother Michael Peacock of Alexandria, KY, her daughter Diane P. Kirk (Bill) of Johns Creek, GA,, and son Jay T. Pullen of Panama City Beach, FL. She is also survived by grandchildren Kendall K. Lanois (Christopher), Dr. Emily K. Gordon (Adam), and Jayme Pullen, and great grandchildren Olivia Lanois, Claire Lanois, and Thomas Gordon.
Sue graduated from Enterprise High School and attended Huntingdon College. She was an
accomplished musician and served as organist for the many churches she attended. She loved
playing golf, traveling, was a great bridge player, avid reader, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles,
and playing Mexican Train dominoes with family and friends. She was a great southern cook
and her family enjoyed her many special dishes. Sue was also very active in her retirement
community.
Sue will be deeply missed by family and friends. She will always be remembered for her
loving spirit, her faith in God and for being a “fun” grandma to her grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 12, 2025 at St. Thomas By the Sea Episcopal Church, 20408 1st Avenue, Laguna Beach, Florida.
A memorial service will also be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 22, 2024 at St. Patrick Episcopal Church, 4755 North Peachtree Road, Dunwoody, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Patrick’s Episcopal
Church, Dunwoody, GA
