Staff Sergeant, Walter Nicholas Stammet, USAF, ret., 92 of Panama City, passed away July 11, 2017 at Covenant Care Hospice. Walter was born July 11, 2017 in Chicago, IL to Nicholas and Kathryn (Shumaker) Stammet. He is a WWII Navy Veteran and a United States Air Force Veteran. Graveside funeral services with Air Force Honors will take place 2pm Tuesday at Tallahassee National Cemetery. Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
