Wendell Hulsman

MSGT, Wendell P. Hulsman, USAF, ret, 85 of Panama City, passed away May 20, 2017 at his home. Wendell was born May 3, 1932 in Malden, MA to Roland and Jessie (Oldenberg) Hulsman and moved to Panama City in 1969 coming from Germany. Wendell served his country in the United States Air Force for over 23 years and is a Viet Nam War Veteran. His is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Gary Hulsman and several brothers & sisters. He was united in marriage on July 12, 1972 to his wife, Avis who resides in Panama City. Wendell is also survived by his children, Sue (Ed) Burdick of Callaway, Dave Hulsman of Callaway, Tom (Deanna) Hulsman of Ohio, Joseph Hulsman of Wewahitchka and Nancy (John) Johnson of Callaway and his numerous grand, great-grand and great great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 5-6 pm at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home where memorial services will take place that evening at 6pm. Interment will take place privately in Tallahassee National Cemetery at a later date. Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
