Willodean G Leavell

Willodean Griggs Leavell, 98, of Port St. Joe, Florida entered into eternity with Jesus on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

She was born the daughter of Lonnie H. and Dealia A. Griggs on May 1, 1925 in Walnut Grove, Arkansas.

She was an Executive Secretary for St. Joseph Telephone and Telegraph for many years. She was a Christian woman that loved her Lord, family and friends. She faithfully played the piano at Hope Family Worship Center for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Carl Leavell, her parents, and her sisters, Irene Quick and Jessie Summers.

Left to cherish her memory, is her son and caretaker, Michael Leavell of Port St. Joe, Florida, as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. EDT on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Hope Family Worship Center, 2001 Garrison Avenue Port St. Joe, Florida 32456

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. EDT Monday, April 22, 2024 at Hope Family Worship Center, 2001 Garrison Avenue, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456 with Reverend Glenn Davis and Reverend Donald Shoots officiating.

Pallbearers are Romaine Pool, Danny Peak, Gary McCroan, Matt Mills, John Strayer and Michael Leavell.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Panama City, Florida located at 23rd and Harrison Avenue.
