Patsy Richter

Patsy Richter, 61, of Panama City, FL passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at her residence after an 11 year battle with cancer. She worked for Saltmarsh, Cleveland, and Gund CPA Firm for 34 years. Patsy was a Quarter Midget Race Car driver in her younger days and usually beat all the boys. She enjoyed sewing, hunting, and playing with her grandchildren, who brought her great joy. Patsy had a green thumb and always enjoyed gardening with her father. She was active in Relay for Life and attended Westview Baptist Church.

She is preceded in the death by her father, Kirk Kirkpatrick and nephew, Aaron Mann.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Carl “Bucky” Richter; 2 sons, Jock Lisenby (Michelle) and Jonathan Richter; 2 daughters, Brenna Hoffman (Scott) and Georgia Richter; brother, Jay Kirkpatrick (Donna); 2 sisters, Judy Mann (Mike) and Joyce Smith (Natt); 3 grandchildren, Heather, Addison, and Ashlyn; and 2 step-daughters, Holly and Carrie Richter.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, May 14, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice at 107 W. 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405.
