Agnes Newsome Adams Richardson, 85 of Sunny Hills, Florida peacefully passed away on February 3, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.
Agnes was born on September 9, 1937 to Eddie B. and Fanny Verna Newsome in Warsaw, Florida.
She loved to go fishing, work in her garden, and research her family genealogy. She also had a great love for all her dogs and considered them her children. Agnes loved to travel and has visited many cities in Europe and the United States, as well as, enjoying time in Hawaii.
Agnes is predeceased by her husband, Ray D. Adams, Jr.; her parents; and siblings: Florene Peairs,
Johnny B. Newsome and Lois Ruth Holeyfield. She is survived by her sister, Laverne Walters; and
brothers; Billy Joe (Shannon) Newsome, Wayne (Michelle) Newsome, and Sam (Cindy) Dortch.
The Newsome/Dortch family would like to send a very special thank you to her friend and hospice
nurse, Toni Qualls, who so lovingly cared for her.
Services will be held at February 11 at 2:00pm at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2403 Harrison
Avenue, Panama City, Florida 32405 with Reverend James Brogdon officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at the Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donations to the American Diabetes Association. Expressions of love and sympathy may be placed and viewed online at www.kentforestlawn.com. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be: Nicholas Quinn, James Holeyfield, Scott Newsome, Brian Pierce, James Jolly, Andrew Jolly and Jason Newsome
