Betty was delivered into this world on April 19, 1927 by her grandmother on the family farm in Southern Illinois.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Opal Gleason; her first husband of 49 years, Bernard (Nod) Day; second husband of 10 years, George Alepakos.
She is survived by a son, Michael (Otilia); three grandchildren, Christina, Miguel, and Alicia; four great grandchildren, Mason, Ava, Isabella and Leila.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Pallbearers will be male members of the choir with honorary pallbearers members of the Joy Club.
In lieu of flowers, please direct your loving expressions to the St. Andrew Methodist Choir.
