Bobbie Jean Tubbs

Bobbie Jean Tubbs of Kinard, FL went to her eternal home in heaven Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was born November 3, 1930 in Walker County, AL to Raymond A and Willie Quinn Dill.

She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 43 years, James Edsel, four daughters; Barbara, Deb, Anita, and Jimmie Nell, and son-in-law Maurice Spikes.

She is survived by daughters Jan Maderios (Chris Snow) of Chipley, FL, Shelia Spikes of Kinard, FL and Sandra Johnson (Mike) of Shelton, WA. Grandchildren; Lori (Tammy), Jason, Jami (Misty), Randy, Jennifer (Justin), Shane, Josh, Ceara (Zach), Marty (Ralynn), Steve (Bobbie Jo), Johnny, Katie (Vander), Ken (Stephanie), and Lisa (Colby). Several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of Open Arms Assembly of God In Kinard, FL, the Blountstown Chapter 179 Order of the Eastern Star and Calhoun County Senior Citizens, former Daughters of the Nile Panama City, FL, and a former first responder at the Kinard Fire Dept. Besides her family and the friendships she built, she was most proud of her time working with the Bay County EMS, as a volunteer at the PCB Police Dept where she was selected on several occasions as police officer of the month, awarded a certificate of achievement from Calhoun County Firefighters Association, and she was presented the distinguished volunteer service award from the Area Agency on Aging of North FL in 2015 for her lifetime dedication to helping others.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 at Open Arms Assembly of God 9996 SW Smith Tower Road, Kinard, FL 32430 from 11:30-1 PM with viewing prior from 10:30-11:30.
