BRADNA LEE BENNETT
Bradna Lee (Hughes) Bennett, 81, of Panama City, passed away September 16, 2020, at her home. Bradna was born March 17, 1939 in Knob Noster, MO to Jessie Hughes and Hilda Beatty Hughes. Bradna was a homemaker and a devout Christian. She was a faithful member of Carlisle Baptist Church where she was happy to be included in the prayer chain. Bradna was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Maxine Starkey; her stepsister, Sheron Demonbrun; and dear caregivers, Roy Lee and Kathleen Hughes.
Survivors include her devoted husband, David Bennett; daughters, Christine Bennett Schmitzer Gibson of Austin, Texas and Cheryll Lynn Bennett of Bend, Oregon; sister, Jeanne Hughes Hirsch of St. Charles MO; Stepsister, Sandra Starkey of Raytown, MO; stepbrother, Ron Brightenthan; cousins, Bill Hughes (Rita) of Knob Noster, MO and Tom Hughes (Janie) of Knob Noster, MO; and 5 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service for Bradna will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 20, 2020, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Josh Fidler officiating. The family will receive friends at the Chapel from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00.
