BROWARD HALL
Broward Hall of Panama City, FL passed away Tuesday evening, April 17, 2018. Mr. Hall was born December 5, 1927, in Marianna, FL to Dora and Hosea Hall. He is preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Virginia, and son, Alan B. Hall. Broward was father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to sons Gary L. Hall and grandson, Gary L. Hall, Jr.. Keith S. (Nez) Hall, grandchildren, Keith, II (Lindsay) Hall; great-grandchildren, Sidney and Parks. Granddaughters, Lindsay M. and Haily M. Hall.
Mr. Hall was the oldest of seven brothers and sisters: Louise Whatley (Jack) of Albuquerque, NM; Lester Hall (JoAnn) of Panama City; Sally Adkinson (James) of Panama City; Viola Pridgen (Jerry) of Panama City; Carolyn Robledo (Edward) of Tallahassee; deceased Marvin Hall and Ester Pugh (Walter). Mr. Hall had ninteen nieces and nephews, including loving nieces Teresa Lee and Gail Davis.
After four years in the US Navy, Mr. Hall returned to Panama City and started his successful career in the insurance business in 1957. To date, his two sons and two grandsons continue his insurance legacy. While serving on numerous community boards and leadership positions in churches, Mr. Hall's most cherished activity was serving the Lord through the Gideons International.
Funeral services for Mr. Hall will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grant Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Chapel from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00.
