Burdette Creamer

Burdette Creamer, age 85, passed away on Friday July 22, 2022 in Southport, Florida.  He was born April 20, 1937 as the ninth child of ten to the late Walter and Sallie (Dykes) Creamer in Southport.  He was preceded in death by loving wife of 44 years, Valerie Creamer; five brothers: Walter, Floyd, Willie, Rudolph, and Arthur; three sisters: Ivey Creamer, Nona Scott, and Pansy Alday; three grandchildren: Monica, Monte, and Owen.  

Burdette served his country in three tours of Vietnam before retiring after 21 years of service as a Senior Staff Sergeant and a recipient of a Purple Heart.  He then worked Civil Service for Lockheed Martin and retired from there after 23 ½ years of service.  

He leaves his cherished memories to his son, Mark Creamer; sister, Eloise Johns; grandchild, Alan; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Jack Sowell.
