CAROL HOOK

Carol Hook passed peacefully from this life on 30 September 2020 at the age of 66, joining her parents, James R. Green and Thelma Green and child Charles A. Hook, who predeceased her. She is survived by her husband Terry Hook and two children, Gayne Hook Kowalik and husband Rob and their 3 children, Brandon, Brett and Kayleigh as well as Jamie Hook Talamantez and her husband JR and their 2 daughters, Isabel and Taylor. She was a graduate of Tarpon Springs High School Class of 1972. Carol was also survived by her siblings, James R. Green and his wife Cherie Green of Montgomery, IL. Sister Rebecca Green King of Montgomery, IL as well as Joyce Green Smith of Jacksonville, FL and Lisa Green Austin and husband James of Jacksonville, FL. Carol was a light that touched everyone who met her. She had a smile that you could not forget. She faced adversity in her life that few would understand, yet she persevered with grace and courage. She loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as participating with local charities such as the Krewe of St. Andrews. She leaves behind an enduring legacy of hope and kindness.

Her family desires that remembrances of Carol Hook be donated to the Second Chance of Northwest Florida, an organization dedicated to restoring hope and dignity and affecting positive change to the quality of life for brain injury survivors and their families. Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 4:00 – 5:00 P.M at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow the visitation with Dr. Gregory George of Gulf Beach Baptist church officiating.
