Catherine Young, beloved Mother, Sister, Daughter, Grandma and Gi Gi passed away peacefully Friday, July 29th, surrounded by loved ones.  She was amazing, intelligent, compassionate, kind, loving, giving, witty and God, was she strong! Her strength carried her through a battle with cancer for 7 years all while giving everything of herself to her children and grandchildren. 

She always loved taking care of others, personally and professionally.  She served as a Physical Therapist Assistant and Para Professional in the Moore, OK school system for many years.  Cathy was an avid reader, loved puzzles and did everything she could to keep her mind sharp.  More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, they were her most special gift!  Hands down, she was the best Grandma!

All who have known her were blessed by her selflessness, kindness and compassion but she definitely had no problem shooting it straight with you either! She will be dearly missed by all who knew her… those whom she threatened to “come back and haunt”, are waiting on the edge of our seats!
