CHARLES MICHAEL BODIFORD

Charles Michael Bodiford, 39, of Panama City, passed away August 3, 2020. Michael was a native and life long resident of Bay County. He was a 1999 graduate of Mosley High School, and was a plumber by trade. Michael loved fishing, and was a former touring professional bass angler.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, JC and Sarah Bodiford and Robert Gibson.

Survivors include his father, Charles Mayo Bodiford (Kitti) of Howard Creek; his mother, Robin Montgomery (Frank) of Panama City Beach; his sister, Ashmore Ellis (Mike) of Temecula, CA; a step-brother, Travis Owens of San Antonio, TX; a step-sister, Lindsey Allen (Justin) of Panama City; his grandmother, Ann Beeman (Jim) of Panama City; aunts and uncles, Harriet Jernigan and Larry and Libby Bodiford, all of Panama City, Erick Ryder of New Mexico and Chris Ryder of Texas; and his special nieces and nephews, Mayo Allen, Stella Williams and Amelia Rose Ellis;.

Private funeral services for Michael will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Joe Melvin officiating. Friends will be welcomed at the funeral home from 2:00 until 3:00. Masks and social distancing will be required. A public Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
