Charles Collin Cable of Panama City passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022, with his twin brother and nurses by his side.
He was born February 2, 1945, in Kennett, Missouri. The family moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he spent his childhood. His favorite pass time hours were spent watching movies and reading adventure books. After attending college, he became district manager for Greyhound, and continued with Greyhound until he retired. A man of reserve, tolerance, and kindness, he remained a Southern Baptist gentleman throughout his lifetime.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James W. Cable, and Roberta Hemingway Cable.
He is survived by daughters, Amanda A. Cable Floyd (George), and Sarah A Cable Burns (Fred), grandchildren, Christian McGowan, Emma L. Floyd, Blake Lillian Burns and Fred Eli Burns, his twin brother, James Rollin Cable (Teri), nephew Justin R. Cable, niece Heather Beard (Charles), and great nephew Charles Beard, Jr/Charlie.
There will be a private family service with interment next to his parents in Oakridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.
