Charles Johnson

Charles Joseph Johnson, 59 of Youngstown, FL passed away Saturday March 9, 2019 at his home. Charles was born May 11, 1959 in Orange, TX and moved to Youngstown in 2016 coming from Copiague, NY. Charles was a professional baker for over 38 years and retired from Fehn’s Cake & Cookie Shop. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting guns. He also enjoyed reading, collecting comic books and studying religion & philosophy. Charles was united in marriage to his wife, Anne on July 15, 1984 in Hicksville, NY who resides in Youngstown. Charles is also survived by his parents, Charlie & Katherine Johnson of Youngstown; his siblings, James (Annie) Johnson of Fountain, Dawanna Corlett of Youngstown, Robert (Louise) Johnson of Southport, Dawn (Todd) Murray of Youngstown, Penny (Michael) Corley of Youngstown; his brother-in-laws, Henry (Linda) Heimink of Colorado, Stanly Heimink of New York, Glenn Heimink of New York, Dion (Lisa) Heimink of Arizona and Michael (Lori) Heimink of Virginia. Friends and family with gather at Charles & Anne’s home Thursday from 6 -8 pm. A Memorial Service will take place 11 am Friday at the Forest Park United Methodist Church. Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
