Cindy Jo Owens went to be with the lord on Thursday, May 5, 2022. She was born January 23, 1966 in Donalsonville, GA. She worked for the past 23 years as a custodian at Mowat Middle School. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Opal Dykes and her sister Pamela Rutherford.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 36 years Melvin Owens, her children Samuel Owens (Emily), Misty Owens (Chasidy), and Caroline Clark (Greg), her grandchildren Winnie-Jo, Penelope, Henry, Leelyn, and Leah, her siblings Dennis, Teresa, Belinda, Michelle, and Tina.

A viewing will take place at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Monday May 9, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Lloyd Lykins officiating.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
