USAF SSgt (retired) Clayton M. Wickham III "Skip", 68, passed away quietly at his home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. 

Skip was born in Buffalo, New York on May 1st, 1956 the son of late Clayton M. Wickham II and June Cain Eck. He was raised at an early age by his grandmother, the late Mae L. Cain. He graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1976 and enlisted in the Air Force in 1978. He served in Kuwait (1990-1991) He retired at Tyndall AFB after proudly serving for 20 years. He remained in service to his comrades in arms by serving as Junior Vice Commander of VFW Post 8205.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stacy, a son, Jason (Ruby) Wickham of Niagara Falls, NY and a stepdaughter Dianna (David) Olthof. Two grandchildren Jeremiah and Zarah. Brothers Randy (Judy) Wickham of Alabama, Thomas Mosier, sisters, Esther (Michael) Luce of Westfield, NY, Ruth Woodburn, Barbara (Brian) Ruge, Roxanne (Brian) Powers and Charlene (Scott) Stewart, all of Florida. Stepmother, Bobbie Wickham of Dunkirk, NY and step sister Brenda Shields Orazio of Jamestown, NY. He was predeceased by his brother, Fred L. Mosier and step brother Michael Shields, and step dad Charles Eck.  

A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, Florida 32405. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 at approximately 3 pm at the VFW Post 8205 located at 735 S Highway 22A, Panama City, Florida 32404.
