CLIFTON JAMES "CLIFF" HAIRSTON

Clifton "Cliff" James Hairston, loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, age 38, went home to be with Jesus our Lord on Sunday, July 11th, 2021.

He was born August 9th, 1982, to his adoring parents, Randall and Ann Hairston, at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City. He was the most passionate about his wonderful children and family, all of whom miss him dearly. Cliff grew up in Bay County and spent most of his early life playing baseball, of which he was extremely talented. He joined the United States Coast Guard at the age of 20. He proudly served our country faithfully as an EM1 Electrician for 7 years and received numerous medals and commendations. Cliff was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and football season was the highlight of his year. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and almost any outdoor activity. Cliff had a huge heart of gold and would always give all of himself to help anyone in need, friend or stranger, and he did so at every opportunity. He loved the Lord and spoke often of the goodness of God.

Cliff is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Hairston and Claudine Hairston, and his uncle, Timothy Hairston.

He is survived by his father, Randall Hairston; his mother, Ann Hairston; his children, Aubrey, Bryce, and Presley Hairston; his sister Ginger Master; his brother-in-law, Brett Master; his nephew and nieces, Roman, Cora, Eve, and Marie Master; his grandparents, Parks and Ginger Hood; and many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins. A viewing will be held at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, July 17th from 6-8 p.m.

A celebration of life service will be held at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Sunday, July 18th, at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Cliff’s honor to your choice of the Wounded Warriors Project or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospitals.
