Cynthia Angela Moore Newsom

Cynthia Angela Moore Newsom, 64 of Panama City Beach, passed away August 5, 2019 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Destin, FL. Cynthia was born May 19, 1955 in Kadena AFB, Okinawa to Emory and Janie (Kelley) Moore and moved to Panama City Beach in 1977 coming from Moultrie, GA. Cynthia had a real zest for life who enjoyed music, dancing, walking her dog, the beach, biking & skiing and her “Starbucks”, but most of all she loved being with her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Col. Emory Moore, ret, USAF. Cynthia was united in marriage in 1985 to her husband, Ben who resides in Panama City Beach. She is also survived by her mother, Janie Sias of Panama City; her three children, Jacob Newsom and Brianna Newsom both of Panama City Beach and Joshua and his wife, Lacy Newsom of Panama City; her siblings, Marsha and her husband, Tip Osterthaler of McLean, VA, Jan Knowles of Panama City Beach and Robert Moore of Panama City and a special nephew, Jeff Mitchell of Panama City. Friends will be received 6-8 pm Friday at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where funeral services will take place 2pm Saturday. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
