Cyril Curry McNeil

An amazing Life story of Cyril Curry McNeil
August 30, 1958 to September 15, 2023

Cyril was born and passed at Bay Medical Center Hospital now called Ascension Sacred Bay Medical Center. Cyril was full of life, adventurous, and a fun loving man. He loved music, dancing, traveling, oysters, celebrations, and his late dog, Dahmer. He graduated from Bay High School in 1976.

He attended DeVry Technical University, Atlanta, Georgia. Cyril was employed by Hughes Aircraft in Los Angeles, California. He then transferred to Mainz, Germany, where he enjoyed skiing, working, traveling and learning many languages. Cyril received his BA at the University of Maryland while there. After many moves to New York City, Miami, and New Orleans, he eventually came back home to the Beach where he worked for Premier Properties. He traveled the world, learned many languages and could even pick up an instrument and begin playing with no sheet music. Cyril became ill and passed away suddenly. It was a shock to all family members. Many were en route to his bedside but did not make it in time. The family is extremely blessed and grateful to Adeline McNeil Meyette (niece), Stevie McNeil (brother), and Christy Coulthard (sister of Cande McNeil) by being bedside at his passing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andy Clyde McNeil (1998) and Betty Curry McNeil (2010).

He is survived by his siblings, sister Sally McNeil (Sam Blimling); brother, Andy McNeil; sister, Janet Kathleen McNeil (Michael Young), Dan and Terri McNeil, Steve and Sylvia McNeil and Sean and Cande McNeil; nieces and nephews, Patrick Kelly, Suzanne Kelly and Gerald Morris, Jennifer Kelly, Kevin and Karye Kelly, Brian and Kim Kelly, Tim and Lisa Kelly, Daniel and Melissa McNeil, Kelly Kathleen and Jeff Peledge, Erick McNeil , Cain and Austin McNeil , Adeline and Connor Meyette; relatives from fathers side (Andy Clyde McNeil), Carl and Melba McNeil (uncle and aunt), Jonathan McNeil (cousin)
Lisa McNeil Haynes (cousin) Dorothy McNeil (cousin) Randy McNeil (cousin) Nancy McNeil (cousin). 

We will so miss Cyril. Rest in Peace. Forever in our hearts and memories.

Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at One Thirty One Events by Trigo, 131 Harrison Ave, Panama City Florida.
