Danny Lee Renshaw, 72, passed away on November 22, 2021 with his daughters by his side. Even though his battle with cancer took him away from us, we are at peace knowing he is with his wife, Barbara.
Danny was born in Illinois on June 21, 1949 to MaryBell and Melvin Renshaw. They relocated to Burlington, Iowa, were Danny attended Burlington High School. This is where he met his loving wife Barbara. Danny joined the Air Force straight out of high school and married his wife on April 4, 1971.
Danny and his family traveled all over the world during his Air Force carrier. He was sent to Thailand Offett AFB, Eglin AFB, Tyndall AFB, Bentwaters-Woodbridge AFB in England and finally, Grand Forks AFB, where he retired as a MSGT after 20 years serving his country. After retiring, he went to work for Boeing Saudi Arabia. The family packed up and moved to Riyadh.
Danny and his family traveled all over Europe while living in Riyahd, Saudi Arabia. In 1992, they bought a house in Panama City, Florida and that is where he and Barbara retired. Danny enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and shooting. He loved spending time with his family. He was an excellent baker and his cookies, brownies, and cakes were always perfect. He was an animal lover and always had a dog.
Danny is survived by his daughters, Lindsay Brown (Andree), and Jaime Brown (Jeffery); his dog, Katy, who is now in the custody of Jaime; his granddaughter, Teresa; and great-granddaughter, Aribella. He is also survived by his sister, Deb and brother, Richard; along with nephews and nieces.
Danny and Barbara will be entombed at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. Details to follow. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Operation Spay Bay, 3520 E. 15th Street, Panama City, FL 32404, in his name.
