Deanna M. Olson

Deanna M. Olson, 79, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017.

She was born the daughter of Carl and Magdaline Steinke on August 24, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Olson was employed at the Tyndall Air Force Base Commissary for 15 years.

She enjoyed reading and computer games. Most of all, she enjoyed traveling with her husband in their R.V. Together, they covered 48 states and the Canadian Proper several times over.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jesse Olson, their children, Tommy Olson (Patricia), Randy Olson (Christina) and Kathy Kowals (John), grandchildren, Jennifer Varsharsky (Yury) and Johnny Olson, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10 :00 A.M. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
