Larry,
I heard the news in a letter from Gene. I’m so Sorry. I loved Delene a lot and had some really great times with her. I miss her. It was such a shock to hear that. God heals all wounds and broken hearts, so I know that you will be fine in time. She is happy and where we all want to be one day. So we all will see her again. That gives me great joy. Love you Larry!!! Lela

Dear Larry, David, and Jerusha,
I can still see Delene sitting in the hotel lobby in Destin where we first met, talking about our "kids" and the convention they were attending. She was a wonderful woman, so loving and caring to everyone. While I know you would much rather her be here with you, we know she is in good hands now. Joe, Liz and I are thinking of you and praying for you at this difficult time. We are so sorry for this terrible loss for your family. Love, Sandy

Dearest Larry and family,
We have always felt close to you and Delene even if we didn't see you as often as we thought of you. We did not know that Delene was sick, somehow we missed hearing of this. We are so sorry for your loss and we cover you with our prayers. We have fold memories of Christmas parties and work times. It was our pleasure to get to know you both and your wonderful children. Time goes by so fast.
Even though we are sad and our hearts are heavy, we know where Delene is right now... healthy and whole, dancing with her Savior.
Our daughter "Crystal" moved to heaven also on June 11th in1981 so I know she and "Mom" Evelyn Hamon was waiting at the gates for Delene's arrival and also my Mama (Emma) who you both knew many years ago.
Give yourself a big hug from our family to you and your family. We love you Larry and we are praying for you.
