Delene M Price

June 14, 1946 ~ June 11, 2017 (age 70) 70 Years Old
de'Lene Price (Mizel) age 70, was born to Herman and Bessie Mizel on June 14, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina. She had one brother, Michael Mizel, who preceeded her in death.

Married to her devoted husband, Larry, for over 52 years, the greatest joy for de'Lene was becoming a mother to her two children, David Michael and Jerusha Lynn Price, of Lynn Haven, Fl. de'Lene loved her hometown of Charleston, and enjoyed sharing her many memories of growing up in the country, surrounded by friends and family. Her cooking skills were amazing, and nothing made her happier than to serve her family and friends wonderful meals.

de'Lene graduated from Murray High School and for a few years worked as a secretary at Charleston Naval Shipward. While in Charleston, after marriage, de'Lene helped her husband in their motorcyle dealerships. An opportunity to buy a Yamaha motorcycle franchise presented itself in Columbia So. Carolina. The business prospered, and they moved and remained in Columbia for about 15 years.
In 1987, Larry and de'Lene knew that they heard from God to be a part of beginnings of Christian International Ministries in Santa Rosa Beach. Shortly after arriving in Florida, de'Lene's greatest joy happened; she became a mother.

Those who knew de'Lene, knew how much she loved her God, and how vital her faith was to her. de'Lene was faithful to the very end and declared that the ultimate healing happened upon the cross over two thousand years ago with the death burial and resurrection of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Bessie Mizell.

She is survived by her loving husband, Larry K. Price of 52 years; children, David Price and Jerusha Price; brothers–in-law, Gene R. Price and wife, Deborah and Jerry L. Price.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Robinson officiating. Family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 16, 2017
