Delmer Mervin Pollard

Delmer Mervin Pollard, 85 of Panama City, passed away October 31, 2017 at Gulf Coast Medical. Delmer was born January 21, 1932 in Old Augusta, IN to Ervond and Thelma (Meadors) Pollard and moved to Panama City in 1992. Delmer is retired from General Motors with 37 years of employment. Delmer was a member of Harry Jackson Masonic Lodge, F&AM of Lynn Haven and the Shaddai Temple Shrine of Panama City. Delmer is preceded in death by a son, Randy Pollard and his siblings, Elmer, Grace, James, Lorraine and Pauline. He was united in marriage on November 12, 2013 to his wife, Peggy who resides in Panama City. Delmer is also survived by his son, Garry (Cindy) Pollard of Thorntown, IN; his daughters, Debbie (Troy) Jarvis of Lebanon, IN and Julie (Phil) Toney of Thornton, IN; a sister, Florence Smith of Indianapolis; his 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Friends will be received 4-5 pm Wednesday at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where funeral services with Masonic Rites will be held that evening at 5pm. Interment will take place in Indianapolis, IN.
