DORIS JANE MOORE   

Doris Jane Moore, 77, of Panama City Beach, passed away July 30, 2020. Doris was born in McDermont, OH, and lived most of her life in Bay County. She enjoyed gardening, yardwork, and loved animals, especially her dogs. Doris worked as a school bus driver for the Bay County School Board for over 33 years. Doris was always a caregiver, and never met a stranger. Long time friends David Parker and Shirley Kahrhoff were currently living with Doris and Terri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Eugene Moore, Sr., and her companion of over 30 years, Don Hitchin.

Survivors include her children, Terri Lynn Moore, Donna Stokes (Timothy), Lester Moore, Jr. (Ashley Bradley) and Tammy Overton (Lynn), all of Panama City Beach; 2 grandchildren, Tiffany Jones and Maycee Overton, both of Panama City Beach; a great-granddaughter, Caidence Henderlong, currently living in Wisconsin; 2 sisters and 3 brothers in Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services and inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Doris' name may be made to the American Heart Association.
