Dorothy Bailey age 95 passed away Sunday March 28, 2021.
She was born in Bay County. Raised in Jackson County. Resided for many years in Lynn Haven, Fla.
She retired from Civil Service. She was an avid reader, loved sports especially the "Braves".
Preceded in death by her parents John Wilburn & Annie Mae Johnson Brother Elmer Johnson and her beloved husband Joseph E. Bailey Jr. They were married 50 years plus.
Survivors include Brothers Mack Johnson and Wendall Johnson. Sisters Alice Watson, Edna Amerison and Mabel Kent. Many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews Temple Baptist Church family and many friends.
She loved her family beyond measure. She was a loving Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt and friend. Dorothy (Dot) Bailey will be remembered always as we mourn her departure.
A funeral service will be held on April 2, 2021 at 2:00p.m. at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home
