Douglas Glenn Ebert, 54, entered into rest on January 11, 2022. He was a life long resident of Lynn Haven, Florida. Born on June 4, 1967 at Clark Air Force Base, Philippines, he was the son of the late Margaret McPherson Bowling and Charles Hjorth Ebert. After graduating from A. Crawford Mosley High School, Douglas went on to attend Gulf Coast Community College. Douglas had a life long career in sales, which began in the family business, Boyd Ebert Corporation. He was the most devoted father to the joys of his life, his daughters, Ashlyn Elizabeth and Madison Grace. Douglas was a true friend to all that knew him, and no one was a stranger. He greatly enjoyed tinkering with cars, loved animals, outdoor activities, sports and especially spending time with his 2 daughters and his family. He was preceded in death by brother, Charles Douglas Ebert; mother, Margaret McPherson Bowling Ebert; father, Charles Hjorth Ebert. He is survived by his daughters, Ashlyn Elizabeth Ebert and Madison Grace Ebert of Lynn Haven, Florida;sister, Carol Ann Ebert-Gorb (Jorge) of Tallahassee, Florida; brother, Charles William Ebert (Lucia) of Mobile, Alabama;as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 11:00 am Saturday, January 22, 2022 at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Friday, January 21, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. The family extends special gratitude to Dr. Joseph Sbarra, Dr. Andrew Weber, Dr. Ken Andronico, the wonderful staff and physicians at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston,Texas,and to VITAS Healthcare.
