Ellie Turner. 93. of Panama City passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Ellie retired after 20 years of service at Super X Drugs. She enjoyed gardening and devoted homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie L. and Rose Etta Chapman; husband, Robert Turner; son, Mark Turner; son- in- law Bobby Purvis; grandson, Chris Purvis; sisters Beulah Snider and Tula Borden; brothers Floyd Chapman, Melvin Chapman, Fred Chapman, Bill Chapman, and Amon Chapman.

She is survived by her children Charlotte Purvis and Kenneth Turner; grandchildren Michele Jordan (Clayton) and Mattie Cheas (Stephen); great grandchildren, Alex Bonner (Cody), Andrew Jordan, Turner Purvis, and Gavin Purvis; great great grandchildren, Penelope Cheas, Brooks Cheas, and Aurora Bonner; sister-n-law, Donna Chapman; numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M. Monday, April 22,2024 at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Craig Brannon officiating. Family will receive friends 1:30 P.M. – 2:30 P.M. at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
