Ernest Hogan (Ernie), age 79 of Callaway, FL, passed away on September 29, 2023.

He was born to Albert and Hazel Hogan on December 21, 1943 in Tempe, Arizona.

He will be remembered for being a loving husband, awesome father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Ernie is predeceased by his brothers, Robert, Wilford, and Albert, as well as his parents, Albert Pierce Hogan and Hazel Adams Hogan.

He is survived by his children: Wanda (Keith), Darlene (Frank), Lynne, Brandi, Ernest II (Becky) and Richard; Grandchildren: William, Linley Tate and children; Amber and Heath Ramsey; Micheal Tate; Ashley, David Stephens and children; Kevin, Rachelle Houck and children; Jessica, Michael and children; Hannah, Brandon Pascoe and children; Andy Lewallen and children; Ernest III, Hunter Hogan.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, at 11:00 AM at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2403 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405. The family will receive visitors at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association or Callaway Methodist Church, both of which held a special place in his heart.
