Ernestine Harlen, age 89, of Lynn Haven, FL, was called home to Jesus on May 14th, 2022. Her life counted a great deal because her loved ones will carry her character with them by loving others the way she loved.
She was born to Nellie May and Harmon Shepherd on June 25, 1932 in Miami, FL.
Her sweet personality and pure smile were contagious to everyone she met. She loved red roses, crochet, and coconut shrimp. Most important, she was a Daughter of God and a woman of strong character who left a shining example for others to follow.
Ernestine is survived by her children: Bill Johnson, Catherine Procarione, Judy Fiordaliso, Patty Griffin, Sandra Harlen, Eric Powell, and numerous grandchildren: Brandy Wood, Adam Wood, Christina Onteriveros, Anna Williams, Koen Fiordaliso, Jason Heuberger, Maria Luchessi, Jennifer Hagler, Josh Rogers, Maia Moates, Zachary Powell, Ayva Powell, Elyse Powell; as well as many great-grandchildren.
A public viewing will be held at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home on May 21st from 1:00-2:00 PM and a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Internment will follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery on-site. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are James Griffin, Josh Rogers, Corey Brockway, Chuck Procarione, Joey Fiordaliso, and Eric Powell.
