Eva McGoey, 59, faithful wife, loving daughter, and our sister in Christ, graduated to her home in heaven and received her crown of life on Friday, July 6, 2018. She is earth’s great loss, but heaven’s eternal gain.
Eva was born on February 12, 1959 in Andale, KS. She worked as a dental receptionist for Dr. Cindy Moore in Panama City, FL. She served there faithfully for over a decade.
Eva was a founding member and elder of High Praise Panama City. She, along with her husband Paul, functioned there as associate pastors for over 22 years. Together, they ministered to hundreds of people over the course of her life. Numerous marriages were healed and restored. Scores were delivered from the oppression of the enemy. Hundreds received prophetic ministry. Eva also aided in the oversight of all prophetic ministry team training at High Praise. She was one who laid down her life for the body of Christ.
Eva was preceded in death by her father, Henry Peltzer of Andale, Kansas along with her sister, Elizabeth Peltzer of Andale, Kansas. Eva is survived by her husband of 34 years, Paul McGoey of Panama City, FL.; her mother, Miriam Smith of Andale, Kansas; six siblings, Greg Peltzer, John Peltzer, Paul Peltzer, Monica Sisson, Margo Schenck, and Tom Peltzer; and numerous extended family members.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, July 15th at 6:00pm at High Praise Panama City, 7124 E. Hwy. 22, Panama City, FL. Those who are unable to attend may view the service on the High Praise Panama City Facebook page via livestream (6:00pm CST). A gathering of family and friends will precede the service and be held from 5:00pm-6:00pm at High Praise Panama City. Flowers may be sent to High Praise or donations can be made to the Preschool Ministry of High Praise since Eva loved ministering to the babies regularly.
