EVERETTE LAMAR HUDDLESTON

Everette Lamar Huddleston, 88, of Panama City, passed away September 9, 2019. He was born in Bienville Parrish, LA, and had lived in Panama City for the last 60 years. Lamar retired as a cable splicer after over 32 years service with BellSouth. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War, and was Baptist by faith. Lamar enjoyed playing and listening to music, and was an excellent gardener.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Nadine; his children, Gwen Parmer (James) of Panama City, Wanda Poteet of Panama City, Mike Huddleston (Joni) of Hellerton, PA, Dennis Huddleston (Carol) of Salt Lake City, UT, Greg Huddleston (Natilie) of Bayou George, and Tony Huddleston of Panama City; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Conrad Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Chapel from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the University of Florida-Shands Hospital.
